Pigeons
Pigeons tend to be more of a pest at the start of the season because they love the tender new leaves of your plants, the pressure from pigeons will lessen over the season! Classic examples of pigeon damage are sharp, beak marks rather than just leaving holes.
Hoops are a great way to protect your plantings from pigeons and other birds. Ensure that you use netting that has small enough holes that tiny birds won't be able to get through and get trapped. It's also important that the hoops are high enough that your produce has space to grow as tall as needs!
